The annual summit, held on 16th September 2025, brought together over 100 international partners committed to advancing global risk mitigation and strengthening the fight against fraud. Moore’s participation underscored Global Alms Incorporated's expanding leadership in transnational crime prevention and its unique commitment to survivor-led advocacy.

Exposing a Hidden Crisis

In her keynote, Moore highlighted one of the least understood forms of trafficking, trafficking in persons for forced criminality, a rapidly growing crisis in Southeast Asia. Victims are lured under false pretenses, trafficked across borders, and forced into scam operations that exploit digital platforms and financial systems.

“These are not perpetrators of crime, they are victims of it,” Moore emphasised. “Behind the statistics and digital scams are real people suffering unimaginable abuse, whose pain remains invisible within financial systems that unknowingly enable exploitation.”

Her message resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom represent institutions working at the intersection of technology, finance, and risk intelligence.

Financial Systems and Human Rights

Moore called on the financial sector to recognise its critical role in addressing human trafficking and fraud as interconnected challenges. By integrating human rights awareness into financial risk intelligence, institutions can identify and disrupt criminal networks more effectively while supporting survivor-centered solutions.

“Every fraudulent transaction has a human cost,” she noted. “When financial institutions strengthen cross-border collaboration and work alongside survivor-led organisations, they don’t just prevent crime, they restore dignity.”

The Global Alms Commitment

Through Global Alms Incorporated’s Counter-Trafficking Unit, the organisation has directly supported the rescue and recovery of more than 1,000 victims of trafficking since 2022. Global Alms continues to provide trauma-informed care, reintegration support, and capacity-building programs for government agencies and frontline responders, ensuring that the fight against trafficking is both systemic and sustainable. Complementing this work, Yes She Matters, a Global Alms initiative founded by Moore, provides survivor-led emergency response and advocacy, centering lived experience in every stage of intervention.

Global Collaboration for Sustainable Impact

Moore’s presence at the LSEG summit reflects a growing recognition that collaboration between financial institutions, civil society, and survivor-led organisations is essential to dismantle modern slavery in all its forms. The dialogue sparked in London marks another step toward a more accountable and human-centered global financial system. “Change happens when we stop treating financial crime and human trafficking as separate problems,” Moore stated. “They are deeply connected, and together, we can design systems that protect rather than exploit.”
