Code of Behaviour
Global Alms Incorporated is committed to creating a safe environment in which individuals can feel comfortable and secure while engaged in any programs, training events or workshops. All Global Alms Incorporated representatives should at all times, show respect and understanding for an individual’s rights, safety and welfare. Each individual should conduct themselves in a way that reflects the ethos and principles of the organisation.
Global Alms Incorporated volunteers should be committed to the following:

Treating children and young people with respect and dignity;

Always listening to what a child or young person is saying;

Valuing each individual and be encouraging;

Recognising the unique contribution of each individual;

Provide an example, which we would wish others to follow;

Use appropriate language with children and young people and challenge any inappropriate language used by a young person or child or an adult working with young people; and

Respect each individual’s right to privacy.

If this Code of Behaviour is breached in any way, the Chief Executive Officer will be formally notified, and disciplinary action will be taken.
