Provide an opportunity for 1 caregiver or organisation leader to be trained as a trainer in the National Children At Risk Training curriculum (janettepepall.com). In Mae Sot, there is very little training available for individuals to attend that teaches them how to work with children at risk in a safe way.
There are many caregivers and organisations working with children and families that have no relevant training or qualifications in this area. The National Children At Risk Training curriculum provides an opportunity for individuals to gain relevant knowledge on how to care for and work with children at risk, and to also become accredited trainers within their own organisation.
The National Training Package Includes:
Module One: Introduction to Children at Risk
Module Two: Child Development from Infancy to Adulthood
Module Three: Foundational Topics for Working with Children at Risk
Module Four: Understanding and Responding to the Children’s Behaviour
Module Five: Best Care Practice
Module Six: Caring for the Caregivers
Module Seven: Creative Activities and Play
Module Eight: Models of Care for Children
